Gerakan Kempas Baru had an initiation ceremony for their new lion dance troup. Attended by Dato Teo Kok Chee, ADUN for Skudai and state Gerakan chairman, Koh Kian Siang and Ting Pang Seng, Ahli Majlis MBJBT, the ceremony was held in SJKC Kempas on 3 Feb 2008.
